The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) changed a many things in and outside of the European Union. With a pandemic, international crises en masse, and a growing distrust in Big Tech companies, can alternative solutions like Matomo convince the populace? Is Matomo GDPR-compliant? And more importantly: Do people see it that way as well?
